I like the leaves. Why are the roots partially multicolored? Paullusmagnus 15:52 21 Jul 2003 (UTC)

I thought different colors might suggest the diversity of areas from wikipedia. Bogdan Giusca 12:37 22 Jul 2003 (UTC)

I don't like the "Tree of knowledge" theme. I think that this concept has been used in so many places along the years. -- Liad Weinberger.

I agree that the symbol is a bit too common, but it is a symbol of knowledge that is understood and accepted in most cultures.

I believe this to be the most visually appealing of all of the choices so far. In fact, may I suggest a slight unevening of the roots to convey that Wikipedia is not "fully grown" yet? The semi-circular shape that the roots form seems to be too perfect and complete.

Although I agree with that the Tree of Knowledge theme is overused, I think this logo is beautifully done. -- Stephen Gilbert 22:13 22 Jul 2003 (UTC)

I like it. Perhaps, the roots should not appear as if cut with a bowl on the head :-) As if just developping nicely in all direction at once, at the same speed. This is not wikipedia :-) The roots should be wilder. Imho. User:anthere

If this logo is picked, we should make a program so that the roots are effected by the number of articles in the wikipedia it is used in. Even if this is not the chosen logo, I think we can find a use for it somewhere for illustration of some wikipedia page somewhere. マイカル 15:15, 18 Aug 2003 (UTC)

I would like to see a mix between this logo and the Wiki-oe-two logo. マイカル 01:22, 19 Aug 2003 (UTC)
